At this week’s Principal’s assembly, our students and staff celebrated Selwyn’s 60th birthday with cake, song and much excitement!  Parent Ruth Hill designed a spectacular 60th cupcake (see photo) and with a team of students and teachers, 1000 cupcakes were baked, iced and decorated! What an extraordinary effort! This meant that everyone received their own special Selwyn 60th cupcake. 

Shanti Truong George, the student’s 60th Team leader, was presented with her cupcake and Ms Edwards lit 6 candles (one for each decade). Then we all joined together with huge enthusiasm to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to our wonderful school.
