On Friday 13 March Selwyn College experienced a wonderful Fiefia evening! In front of a full audience in the Selwyn Theatre our new Tongan Cultural Group revealed their charm and talent in amazing performances that drew huge support. The host for the evening was Yuki Suttie, leader of the Student Cultural Council and she did an outstanding job too.
Unfortunately, we also heard the news that the ASB Polyfest 2020 had been cancelled due to Covid-19. This was to have been the first performance by a Selwyn Tongan Cultural Group at the festival so it is a huge disappointment. However, we will find opportunities later this year for the group to perform and to feel proud of their efforts and achievements.
Magnificent Fiefia Night
