James Haydon is Soaring!

Recently, James swam at the NZ Swimming Championships held at the Owen Glenn Aquatic Centre.  He won the 100m Men’s Breaststroke multi-class race in 1:28.83. This means he is the National Champion in that event. He also achieved a personal best time taking 11.07 seconds off previous times.  He then came second in the 50m Men’s Breaststroke multi-class race in a time of 2.31 - seconds off his personal best time. He achieved personal best times in all his races.

This week, James represented Selwyn at the College Sport Swimming Champions of Champions event and won Gold for the 50m freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke multi-Class races. During the school holidays, he will swim at the NZ National Age Group Swimming Championships, followed by a two day Swimming NZ camp preparing for Brisbane in November.
